All Eyes on Awoniyi, Boniface As Super Eagles Confronts Libya in AFCON Qualifier

In today's crucial Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, the Super Eagles of Nigeria  face Libya in Uyo, with both teams needing points for their respective targets.

Nigeria has secured four points from their first two matches against Benin and Rwanda, putting them in a strong position. A victory would bring them closer to qualification, needing just one more win to secure their spot.

 Libya, on the other hand, is in a tough spot with only one point from their initial games and desperately needs a win to stay in contention.

While Nigeria is favored due to their depth and quality, Libya's resilience could make for a surprising outcome. The atmosphere in Uyo is electric, reflecting the match's importance for both sides.

Maiduguri-born Tahur Maigana makes Flying Eagles AFCON squad One of the talents to look out for in the upcoming U20 AFCON is Tahir Maigana The young player who was born and bred in Maiduguri, Borno State, is plying his trade with Wireless Football Club based in Abuja, Nigeria.  The natural left footer is a genius and will wow the spectators during the tournament. Recall that Coach Aliyu Zubairu, the Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri will lead the U20 team to the AFCON in Egypt.
