Pro Route League holds mid-week games to end first round 



The week seven fixtures of the Pro Route League will be prosecuted on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, a statement from the league organisers says. 

"Due to the schedule of the NPFL and to better accommodate our fan base, please be informed that all week 7 games will now be played on Wednesday, September 4,2024. The matches will occur at the same time and venue as previously scheduled. 

We apologise for any inconvenience this change may cause and appreciate your cooperation and understanding" it reads. 

The Pro Route League which debuted June this year has been described as a watershed in the cause of football development at the  grassroots.

The league provides an ample opportunity,through its platform for young footballers to showcase their talents and to also get scouted by European scouts through the Afriskaut scouting platform.

"We have witnessed an exceptional display of football artistry over the course of the league and we are excited about the talents that the teams have put forward"said the League COO, Ibrahim Zubair.

The Pro Route League(PRL) has also been admired through its quality organisation and matches.

From the availability of medical personnel, Livestreaming of the games, awards for players and honourary mentions through its team of the week initiative, the PRL venue  has now become go to for many football fans.

As at week six, FC Zeus remains the only unbeaten team in the league. Their impressive run has seen them occupying the top seat on the log with 16 points and followed closely by Unicorns FC who has 15 points.

Kwara Football Academy boys are third on the log with 15 points and House of Prayers FA are fourth placed with 8 points.

Barrier SC and La Planet SA occupy fifth and sixth position on the log with seven points each while Skillz FC and City Boys who are still looking for their first league win both sit rock bottom in 7th and 8th position respectively with a point each.
