NPFL Transfer: Rock Solid Defender Segun Owoade inks two year deal with Sunshine Stars 



Sunshine Stars of Akure has snapped up a young and energetic defender, Segun Owoade on a two year deal  

The defender was an integral part of the impressive run of Inter Lagos FC that saw them qualify for the NNL Super 8 and narrowly missed out on the NPFL promotion ticket. 

He was also instrumental to the Inter Lagos historic run in the President Federation Cup where they narrowly lost to eventual winner, Elkanemi Warriors in the quarter final.

Segun is distinct for his style of play and qualities that set him apart from his peers. As a defender, his knack for perfection,unwavering diligence and professionalism including his ability to win both aerial and low level duels endears him to many.

He is also admired for his interception and eyes for goals. Segun will is fondly remembered for scoring Inter Lagos second goal in their 2-0 away victory over Crown FC in their NNL game to secure the NNL Super 8 ticket.

Owoade is expected to be part of the Coach Kennedy  Boboye's project as they go into the new NPFL season.
