Koller Football Academy unveils new Head Coach 



Koller Football Academy has unveiled Coach Moshood Baba as the new Head Coach of the Academy. 

Coach Baba was unveiled on Sunday to the admiration of the players and stakeholders of the Academy. 

Unveiling the Coach, the Patron of the Academy, Moruf Ogunlana described the development as a milestone in the history of the Academy. 

While noting that the Coach will add value to the towering status of the Academy, the Patron stated that the management will not relent on their oars in creating a sustainable approach towards pushing the Academy to a greater height. 

"We are very happy about this  development and it marks the beginning of a new dawn in the history of our Academy. 

"At Koller Football Academy, we are committed to fostering a culture of excellence, discipline, and sportsmanship.We will provide the necessary support and resources to help you grow and succeed" he said.

The Patron urged all the coaching staff and players of the Academy to be hardworking and disciplined adding that he is confident of a bright future for everyone part of the team.

Also speaking in the same vein, the Technical Director of the Academy, Coach Usman Jubril said the appointment of the Head Coach will further strengthen the activities of the Technical crew and also help develop  the players. 

One of the highlights of the programme which was witnessed by parents of the players in Academy was the unveiling of players who were promoted from one category of the team to another.

Koller Football Academy was founded in 2015
with the sole aim of nurturing the young talented players in Nigeria.The Academy which boasts of over 60 players is grouped into different categories, ranging from Under 12, 14 16 and  Under 18 (U18).

The new Head Coach, Moshood Baba, who is an ex-player of Kwara United however promised to justify the confidence reposed  in him.

A National Institute for Sports(NIS) trained and licensed Coach, Baba has over  a decade of experience in football Coaching,having handled teams like Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN) teams in Minna and Abuja. He has also managed Marakana FC of Abuja, Balogun Fulani Microfinance Bank FC and Sunshine Football Academy. 

The new Head Coach is expected to oversee the activities of all the categories of teams in the Academy and ensure the development of the players in line with international best practices. 


The Koller FA teams have been impressive so far in all the leagues where they are participating. While the U14 category are currently second on the log of the Kwara Kiddies YEG league, the U16 team are also making waves in the NFCA league where they have gone unbeaten in six games and are also leading their Group with 18 points.
