Gaa Akanbi FC rallies support for Coach Aliyu Zubair on Flying Eagles Appointment

The management and players of Gaa Akanbi FC have congratulated Coach Aliyu Zubair on his appointment as the Head Coach of the Flying Eagles of Nigeria. 

In a statement signed by its Technical Adviser, Coach Bashir Abolarinwa, the club described the appointment as timely and deserving. 

"All the members of the team are extremely happy for Coach Aliyu Zubair's appointment as the Head Coach of  Flying Eagles of Nigeria. It's a deserving one that speaks to his technical and tactical acumen as  a Coach. 

"We would also like to call on football stakeholders across the country to rally round him  in his bid to deliver for the country. 

The Kwara-based NLO Division One side also wishes  Coach Aliyu who is also the Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors the success in his new appointment.

Maiduguri-born Tahur Maigana makes Flying Eagles AFCON squad One of the talents to look out for in the upcoming U20 AFCON is Tahir Maigana The young player who was born and bred in Maiduguri, Borno State, is plying his trade with Wireless Football Club based in Abuja, Nigeria.  The natural left footer is a genius and will wow the spectators during the tournament. Recall that Coach Aliyu Zubairu, the Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri will lead the U20 team to the AFCON in Egypt.
