Abraysports FC backs Segun Owoade to succeed at Sunshine Stars

Abraysports FC has thrown its weight behind Segun Owoade to succeed in his new club.

Owoade, who is a product of the Abraysports FC recently signed a two year deal with Sunshine Stars of Akure ahead of the new NPFL season.

Abraysports FC Chairman, Adekunle Yusuf described Segun's move to the Akure based side as great one.

"We are happy for Segun's new contract with Sunshine Stars. His development and  transition has been very impressive and it's a delight to see now joining an Elite league side"said the experienced administrator.

The Chairman further stated that club will continue to develop its players and make them attractive to the world of football market.

Owoade's development at Abraysports FC saw him featured for the team in many  NLO campaigns.

He was part of the team that won the Amapro football championship back to back.

The rock solid defender was an integral part of the Inter Lagos FC side that qualified for the NNL Super 8 last season and also reached the quarter final of the President Federation Cup.

Abraysports FC are renowned for developing and grooming talented footballers.

One of its product, Ishaq Rafiu who is now plying his trade in Europe emerged the NPFL highest goal scorer with Rivers United a few seasons ago.

Some of the club's product playing Europe also include Solabi Olabode and Ayobami Onatola. The club also has many players doing them proud in the Nigeria Premier League, amongst whom is Abiodun Omolaoye.

Recall that Coach Aliyu Zubairu, the Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri will lead the U20 team to the AFCON in Egypt.
