Former Nigeria U23 star, Anthony Anioke Delighted To Join Kwara United 

Former Nigeria U23 midfielder, Anthony Anioke is delighted to join Kwara United of the new NPFL season.

Anioke was part of the 19 new players who were unveiled by the Harmony Boys last Thursday.

The experienced defender while speaking to journalists after his unveiling in the full glare of the media expressed his delight in joining the club.

He said "I feel good and happy joining this great club. It's a lovely family and I feel great.

Anioke will be banking on his experience and that of other players in the team to finish strongly in the new season, noting that continental ticket remains his target. 

"I bring along my experience- having played for, Sunshine Stars and Akwa United and the National team- I believe it  will help the team to go far this season.

"My target for the team is to finish strongly and be on the continent next season and also fight for the league"he added.

Anioke also called on the fans of the team not to relent with their support which he said is key to achieving their aims.

"I want to call on the fans to  always support us even if we are having a bad day,I believe with there support we will make history together come this season"

Anioke's experience and quality as midfielder will come in handy as  Kwara United seek for a redemption in the upcoming season.
