Former Golden Eaglets Star, Akinsola seals permanent deal with Portugal top flight side, AVS Futebol SAD


Former Nigeria Golden Eaglets Star, Babatunde Akinsola has joined Portuguese Premier League side, AVS Futebol SAD on a permanently deal of three years.

Akinsola who was loaned to the team seven months ago from Real Valladolid in Spain has now permanently sealed  the deal after having an impressive season in the second division

The Valiant FC Product was an integral part of the AVS team  that secured promotion into the Portuguese top division.

Akinsola's contribution to the promotion saw him score a goal and made two assists to help his side clinch the ticket. 

He expressed his delight about the deal and hopes to do more in helping the club achieve their target. 

The young and vibrant attacker will be looking forward to another fruitful campaign as the team competes in the top flight.

Maiduguri-born Tahur Maigana makes Flying Eagles AFCON squad One of the talents to look out for in the upcoming U20 AFCON is Tahir Maigana The young player who was born and bred in Maiduguri, Borno State, is plying his trade with Wireless Football Club based in Abuja, Nigeria.  The natural left footer is a genius and will wow the spectators during the tournament. Recall that Coach Aliyu Zubairu, the Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri will lead the U20 team to the AFCON in Egypt.
