Anthony Omaka wins MOTM award as ASVO picks semifinal ticket in Optima Energy Gold Cup 



Anthony Omaka won the Itel Man of the match award following his impressive performance in ASVO FC win over Kasam FC in the ongoing Optima Energy Gold Cup Tournament.

ASVO defeated Kasam FC 2-1 to emerge as the runner up in Group A with four points behind Beyond Limits who have Nine points of the tournament.

Despite losing their first game to Beyond Limits 3-0,  ASVO rallied round to pick up a draw in their 1-1 against Ijebu United before sealing a place in the Semifinal with a win over Kasam FC. 

Omaka's impressive performance underscores his ability and versatility in the Benin Republic side, where he has perfectly fit in as they continue to build up for a new season.

The former Kwara United midfielder expressed his delight over winning the award and hopes to continue to do more for the team.
