Taofeeq Aremu scores winner for NNL All Stars to defeat House of Prayer 





Mercurial midfielder, Taofeeq Aremu has expressed his delight over scoring the winning goal for NNL All Stars in their Amapro Soccer championship first game against House of Prayer FA. 

Aremu who was introduced in the second half of the game scored a long range shot in the 79th minute to give the NNL boys a win against their opponent.

He was also close to getting a brace a few minutes after scoring the breakthrough but the opponent had their goalkeeper thanked for stretching off to clear the goal bound shot. 

The former ABS FC midfielder showed class and took control of the game from the middle of the park following his entry into the game.

"I am very happy with my performance and also feel good for scoring the winning goal. The victory is our collective effort and we will continue to build on this as we move on in the tournament.

Aremu who is looking forward to playing the NPFL in the upcoming season is admired by his qualities as a good passer and user of the ball, interception, a playmaker and his vision for goal.
