Ogungbenro Mustapha eyes 2024 Amapro Cup Glory with Abraysports FC


Abraysports FC sensational forward, Ogungbenro Mustapha is banking on the hardwork and commitment of his team to win the AMAPRO football championship tournament.

Abraysports, who defeated Dickalo FA on penalties in the semi final will be facing the NPFL All Stars in the final of the tournament scheduled to hold on Sunday,July 7, 2024.

It would be recalled that Mustapha, who has two goals and an assist to his credit in the ongoing tournament was also part of the Abraysports squad that won the last edition of the competition when they defeated Kwara Football Academy boys 1-0 in the final.

The former Unilorin Warriors forward believes that his team will give the NPFL All Stars boys a tough fight.

Mustapha said "I understand many people have tagged the NPFL All Stars as the favourites but I believe the hardwork and commitment that has taken us this far in the tournament will help us against them.

He also added that his team is poised to make history by winning the tournament back to back.

The NPFL All Stars set up an Amapro final showdown with Abraysports after dispatching the NNL All Stars 5-1 in the semi final match.

The final will take place at the Kwara Football Academy main pitch on Sunday by 4pm
