Coach Aliyu Zubair commends Alhaji Gusau-led NFF Board, lauds CAF C coaching course introduction for women
The Technical Adviser of El Kanemi Warriors has commended the Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau-led NFF board for their stride in developing football in Nigeria.
Coach Zubair made the remarks while speaking with Sports Writers Association of Nigeria(SWAN) Kwara State chapter in an interview on Thursday.
"We have to commend the NFF under the leadership of Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau for their efforts in developing football in the country. I believe they are doing a great job to reposition football in the country and this will bear positive results in no distant future.
Zubair noted that all stakeholders must come together and do their part in the cause of football development.
The Kwara-born gaffer lauded the NFF for the introduction of the first-ever CAF C coaching course currently ongoing. He described the programme as a game changer which will enhance the development of female football in the country.
"The CAF C programme for the women coaches is a good development and it will take the game to another level. Coaching Education is very important and key to the growth of the industry.
Coach Zubair will be leading the Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri into the upcoming NPFL and CAF confederation cup campaigns after securing the promotion ticket to the elite league and a continental berth for winning the President Federation Cup.
