Coach Aliyu Zubair leads El Kanemi Warriors into historic FA Cup final, set to make history 



The first ever Federation Cup final match in Abuja next week is going to be an historic moment for Coach Aliyu Zubair, the Technical Adviser N Elkanemi Warrmiors .

It's the fourth time that Elkanemi Warriors are playing in the final match. They have won the coveted title on two occasions in 1991 and 1992. They only lost to defunct Dolphins in the 2001 final.

Coach Aliyu who won the FA Cup with Akwa United in 2017 as an Assistant Coach will be looking forward to make history when the Warriors from Maiduguri face off with Abia Warriors in the final on June 29.

El Kanemi has had an impressive season so far under the guidance of Coach Aliyu who helped the team secure promotion back to the NPFL.

Ali is expecting a crowning moment for the current season with a win against Abia Warriors.

The Ilorin-born tactician is admired for his modern approach to football coaching and has attracted interest from top clubs in the country but remain focused to helping Elkanemi Warriors till the end of the season 

He is also widely reputed as NPFL promotion specialist having qualified two teams, Gombe United and ElKanemi Warriors to the NPFL on separate occasions.
