Chris Olatunji Charity Cup Trophy Delights Gaa Akanbi FC


The management,technical crew and players of Gaa Akanbi FC are delighted with their recent achievement of winning the second edition of Chris Olatunji Charity Football tournament.

Gaa Akanbi FC defeated Champions FC 2-1 in the final of the competition played over the weekend.

It was their second trophy in two weeks following their emergence as the winners of the JAFAK Cup.

According to the Head Coach, Bashir Bolarinwa, the team is delighted with the victory which has now taken their trophy cabinet count to 17.

"It's another milestone for us. We are particularly happy about this achievement and will not rest on our para to continue to win titles and also produce talented players" he said.

The club also appreciate the sponsor of the tournament, Chris Olatunji, who is the owner of Bespoke Luxury Homes, a partner to the club for his commitment to developing football and helping talents.

Recall that Coach Aliyu Zubairu, the Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri will lead the U20 team to the AFCON in Egypt.
