Chris Olatunji Charity Cup final holds today


All is set for the final match of the second edition of Chris Olatunji Cup later today Saturday, June 15, 2024.

The match will be held at the main bowl of the Kwara State Stadium Complex in Ilorin. 

The game will involve Champion FC and Gaa Akanbi FC in what promises to be an exciting final match. 

It's the second edition of the tournament ably sponsored by the CEO of Bespoke Luxury Homes, Chris Olatunji. 

Amongst other things, the tournament is aimed at discovering top football talents, promotes youth empowerment and also an humanitarian cat of giving back to the society.

The sponsor himself, Olatunji will lead other top dignitaries to the event which will kick off at 4pm. 

Adabata FC were the maiden edition winner.

Maiduguri-born Tahur Maigana makes Flying Eagles AFCON squad One of the talents to look out for in the upcoming U20 AFCON is Tahir Maigana The young player who was born and bred in Maiduguri, Borno State, is plying his trade with Wireless Football Club based in Abuja, Nigeria.  The natural left footer is a genius and will wow the spectators during the tournament. Recall that Coach Aliyu Zubairu, the Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri will lead the U20 team to the AFCON in Egypt.
