Nigerian ex-international Daniel Amokachi excited, throws weight behind 7th edition of Adron Games
Nigerian ex-international, Daniel Amokachi has thrown his weight behind the forthcoming 2024 edition of the Adron Games.
Amokachi while expressing his delight about the idea of the tournament described it as a mini National sports festival, given its scope of bringing people across the country together.
"It's a great honour to be taking part in the forthcoming Adron games 2024 and all the journeys have been spectacular in showcasing athletes that abound in the country.
"For me, It's a mini National Sports festival ,all the games have been showcased and talents have been discovered and every age is taking part in it" said De Bull.
Amokachi urged athletes and participants to seize the opportunity of the event to have fun and experience as the game promises to produce a great atmosphere.
The former Super Eagles Coach noted that support must be given to an idea like the Adron Games as an initiative which is geared towards sports development.
The Adron Games Championship is expected to kick off in June and run through to August, 2024 while the National finals will be in November in Ibadan, capital City of Oyo State.
"Adron games will be bigger and better this year. Over 64 teams in a football championship and winners will emerge to participate at the National finals in Ibadan" said Oladapo Emmanuel, the Director of operation of the Adron Sports foundation.
Speaking further, the experienced Sports administrator said "The goal is to bring together all major brands to foster team bonding, networking, give workers a sense of responsibility, relish memories of the good old days and to ensure everyone has fun at the end of the day.
The tournament is organized by Adron Sports foundation, a subsidiary of the Nigerian real estate giant, Adron Homes and Properties Limited.
