NA Royal FC of Ilemona begins journey to greatness


All is now set for the newly established NA Royal FC of Ilemona in Oyun local government area of Kwara State to hit the ground running for their journey to greatness.

Founded in 2023, the club in its short time of existence has begun to make landmark achievements which are deeply rooted in its inception message.

A platform to engage the youths and also provide them with opportunities, NA Royal FC has also found great footings with its team of management and technical crew.

The Coordinator of the club, Alhaji Abdulrahman Rabiu has ensured that no stone is left unturned as the team sets out for the journey of greatness.

The team had the opportunity to participate in the NLO invitational tournament which was held in Kano last year and made a good impression of their appearance by finishing second on the log.

A few weeks ago, the team also attended a scouting programme in Abuja and had two of her players making the final selection of the team that is now bound for great opportunity in Europe.

Speaking on the club's plan, the Director of Football of NA Royal FC, Funsho Muhammed stated that the team will become a force to reckon with in a not to distant future.

"We are aware of the task of bulding a solid team and the one that can fight for honours and we are not going to leave anything to chance to achieve that.

"The leadership of the team is also determined to support us in our bid to achieve greatness, and for me,that is the greatest asset we have.

Funsho, whose last handled Ladegbuwa FC as General Manager said the club will provide enormous opportunity for footballers within the host community, Kwara State and across Nigeria.

NA Royal FC will participate in the upcoming NLO season and the team is ready for the rigours the competition is known for.

"I am familiar with NLO as a league. We are going to make the best of recruitment and also provide an enabling environment for the players with a lot of motivation to succeed in the league. Our target is to secure the promotion ticket to the Nigeria National League and I  believe it's possible" he added

Funsho also commended the Technical crew under the leadership of Coach Ahmed Bolaji and appreciate the people of Ilemona for their love and support to the team.
