Kwara Goalkeepers celeberate Coach Amusa Adisa as Oluyori aims to produce 40 Dele Aiyenugbas



One of the fastest growing goalkeepers' trainers in Nigeria, Coach Solomon Oluyori has revealed his intention to produce more goalkeepers like former Super Eagles' goalkeeper, Dele Aiyenugba. 

Oluyori made this remarks at the second edition of the annual get together event of goalkeepers' family in Kwara State on Saturday.

Started his special goalkeeping training Academy in 2017, Coach Oluyori stated that Kwara State has become a force to reckon with in producing best goalkeepers and the trend must be sustained.

Oluyori commended former Super Eagles Goalkeeper and trainer, Coach Amusa Adisa for laying the strong foundation for the family in the state. 

"We are here today to thank God for all he has done for us under the year in review. We believe there is need for us to come together to reflect on where we are coming from, where we are and where we are going.

"In another breadth, we are using this occasion to celebrate Coach Amusa Adisa for laying a strong foundation upon which all the goalkeepers in Kwara State are standing on.

While he referenced some of the products of his training are now making waves at home and abroad, Oluyori added that he is determined to produce more goalkeepers in order to break the barriers both in male and female football. 

Oluyori stressed that the group is blessed to have many veteran goalkeepers who always made themselves available to train the young ones, this he said has placed the Kwaran goalkeepers behind their peers. 

"We have three of our products now in Europe. We also have two of our female goalkeepers now with Sunshine Queens and one of them has been invited to the National team. 

"My target is to produce 40 goalkeepers like Dele Aiyenugba. He is such a legend of the game and a role model to all of the young ones.

Oluyori however called on the young goalkeepers to remain 
focused and committed to their career. 

Earlier in the programme, Dele Aiyenugba urged the upcoming goalkeepers to be humble and shun drugs.

According to him, he has been able to maintain his relevance within the sticks due to his dint of consistent training, hard work and dedication. 

The event was graced by the former Super Eagles Goalkeeper's trainer; Coach Amusa Adisa, Nigeria Flying Eagles Goalkeeper's trainer; Coach Shuaib Suleiman, Kwara Football Academy Technical Director; Coach Sam Elijah (MON), YSFON National Officer and SA to Kwara FA Chairman on Technical Matters; Alhaji Ahmed Abdallah amongst others who also admonished the young goalkeepers to be dedicated to their career.
