NNL: Crown FC General Manager banks on home support ahead of match week 3 against Gateway United
As fans and supporters are expected back to the Soun Stadium, Ogbomoso, the traditional home for Crown FC after three matches behind closed doors sanctions placed on them by the Nigeria National League over unruly act, the General manager of the Ajilete Warriors, Mr. Olamide Ilupeju is banking on their support for the game against Gateway United.
The Ajilete Warriors have maintained a perfect start after two matches with the latest win in Lagos over International Lagos FC.
Olamide Ilupeju believed all sons and daughters of Ogbomoso deserve all credits for their amazing support. The General Manager opined that the supports received from the fans and supporters inspite of the sanctions were absolutely amazing and believed six points from two matches is definitely a morale booster going into the next match against Gateway.
"Despite the fact that we played behind closed doors against FC One Rocket, the phone calls I received were amazing. Different people started congratulating us and pouring encomiums on the team with prayers as well. I'm overwhelmed."
"After we won in Lagos, my phone kept buzzing for many hours. This shows our people are behind us and monitoring our matches through CROWN FC MEDIA Facebook Live. I want to thank them."
"Now that the sanctions and restrictions are over, I want our fans to turn out en masse against Gateway United this weekend. For this team to continue with this fine start, this support must continue. I also want them to abide by the rules and order before, during and after the match, our darling Crown FC must not go down." Olamide Ilupeju said.
