Osun Babes FC Installs First Lady, Titilayo Adeleke as Club's Matron

Today, Thursday, 30th November, 2023 marks a wonderful turning point in the history of Osun Babes FC as the First Lady, Mrs Titilayo Adeleke was installed the matron of the club.

The General Manager, Osun State Sports Council, Mr Rotimi Dunmoye who received the First Lady in company of the Mrs Tola Usman led Osun Babes FC Management members said that the first lady is a wonderful woman of honor whose love for women and children is unmatched. Hence, making her the matron of Osun Babes FC is a welcomed development.

In her address, the Chairperson of Osun Babes FC, Mrs Tola Usman reiterates the love and support  Governor Ademola Adeleke and his deputy, prince Kola Adewusi have shown in sports development since assuming office a year ago.

Mrs Usman said that the first lady's exploits in women's welfare and development prompted Osun Babes FC to deem it fit that other than her, the cap of Osun Babes FC matron fits no other person.

" We are fully aware of all the giant strides of the our mother, Mrs Titilayo Adeleke in women's development in the state and we are happy of her countless achievements."

" We sat down and come to the realization that our first lady is the perfect fit for our patron. Hence, we are installing her today. She is woman of substance, integrity and honor." Concluded Mrs Usman.

In her acceptance speech, the first lady, Mrs Titilayo Adeleke lauds the governor Adeleke for fulfilling his electoral promises to the people of Osun State while promising to always come to aid of Osun Babes FC.

" I want to assure you, Osun Babes FC that I will always do my best to support the team whenever the need arise. Osun Babes FC is our team and we would all put hands on deck for the betterment of the team."

" It is imperative that I thank the leadership of the spots council under the able leadership of Mr Rotimi Dunmoye, The director of sports, coaching and training, Mr Demola Daini, the Chairperson of Osun Babes FC, Mrs Tola Usman, the club secretary, Mrs Ronke Ogunbanwo, The Team Manager, Mr Wole Animasahun and the technical crew for a job well done. I am promising you that I will work out something for the smooth running of the team." Concluded Mrs Adeleke.

On behalf of the team, the Director of Sports, Coaching and Training, Osun State Sports Council, Mr Demola Daini thanked the first lady for accepting to be the matron of the team while promising that the team will continue to be good Ambassadors of the state.

Mr Daini lauds the proactiveness of Governor Adeleke to the plights of the team as he has promised to give the team a new bus. He also rained encomium of praise on the Deputy Governor gmwho doubles as the Commissioner for sports, Prince Kola Adewusi for good welfare packages he has for the team.

Recall that Coach Aliyu Zubairu, the Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri will lead the U20 team to the AFCON in Egypt.
