La Planet Sports Academia's 'Flying Cat'  unveiled by ABS FC


Nicknamed flying cat in view of his standout performance over the years, one of the longest serving Goalkeepers of La Planet Sport Academia, Adams Josiah has been unveiled by ABS FC.

Josiah has etched his name in gold in the history of La Planet  as not only a dedicated player but a  faithful one with right work attitude. 

Young and energetic with good reflexes, Josiah teamed up with ABS FC with a rich experience, discipline and on the heels of best of tutelage. 

"We are very happy with this development. He is such a great goalkeeper and we are confident that he will excel in his new club" said La Planet in a Statement.

Josiah joins the long list of La Planets'  graduates who will be making waves in the new NNL season.

Earlier, the club announced the departure of Alabi Sulaiman Jojo to El Kanemi Warriors FC of Maiduguri.

In another development, Adama Isiaiah, the club NLO hattrick hero was also unveiled by ABS FC on Thursday alongside Josiah.

Maiduguri-born Tahur Maigana makes Flying Eagles AFCON squad One of the talents to look out for in the upcoming U20 AFCON is Tahir Maigana The young player who was born and bred in Maiduguri, Borno State, is plying his trade with Wireless Football Club based in Abuja, Nigeria.  The natural left footer is a genius and will wow the spectators during the tournament. Recall that Coach Aliyu Zubairu, the Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri will lead the U20 team to the AFCON in Egypt. Coach Aliyu has earlier won the heart of Nigerians after leading the team to WAFU-B championship back in October last year and he's banking on their support again to win the AFCON
