Abubakar Garba excited for scoring first goal for Kwara United, eyes more


Kwara United's prodigy, Abubakar Garba has expressed his desires to score more goals for his club in the current season.

The young and lanky forward netted his first goal for the Harmony Boys on match day ten against Gombe United. 

The Kwara Football Academy producted netted the second goal for the team in the 85th minute to the delight of the  home fans. 

Speaking to our correspondent after the game on Sunday, he expressed his delight at scoring the goal which he said will boost for his career. 

"I felt so good. I would like to score more goals in the league.

"I have already made up my mind that anytime I am given an opportunity I am going to use it very well and I am happy it happened today. 

"The goal means a lot to my career and this will really help me going forward.

Abubakar joined Kwara United last season and he hopes to notch more goals for the team as the season progresses.
