Ladegbuwa FC General Manager Excited As Club Wins PJT FA/Lead City International Pre Scouting Tourney



Ladegbuwa FC are the champions of the PJT FA /Lead City FA international scouting tournament.

The Ladegbuwa boys defeated the PJT FC boys 1-0 in the final of the game played on Wednesday at Lead City University in Ibadan.

It was a crowning moment for the Ladegbuwa boys who have been impressive throughout the tournament that had top officials and hierarchy of Ude Sports Management on ground to scout for players.

The Ladegbuwa boys, who defeated Dickalo FA 1-0 in the semi final won all their seven games throughout the tournament that has 60 teams participated. 

The General Manager of Ladegbuwa FC, Funsho Muhammed commended the players for their dedication and hardwork.

While also applauding the Chairman of the club, Otunba Dapo Olumide Olowu for his immeasurable support, he lauded the effort of the technical crew under the leadership of ex-Nigeria international Coach Sakiru Giwa for the feat.

"It's a no small feat. I am happy with this achievement. Even though it's a scouting tournament, our boys not only gave a good account of themselves but also show positive attitude throughout the game.

Funsho who was appointed recently as the General Manager of the club said the achievement is the first of the many that will come for the club. 

"We will continue to work hard and make sure that we put our club on a strong footing so that they will be able to compete at any level. We are blessed with a lot of talents and our system and set up will help them achieve a breakthrough in their career.

The international scouting Tourney will take place in November.
