John Peter targets more goals after scoring winner for Abia Warriors against Tornadoes




The young and lanky striker of Abia Warriors, Peter John has expressed his readiness to score more goals for his club in the new NPFL season.

Peter who scored the lone goal that saw his side triumph over the visitors expresed his delight over scoring such án important goal. 

The former Ottasolo Striker scored in the 79th minutes tó give the Coach Ersamus Onuh the victory. 

"I am very happy for scoring the goal. It was a great feeling and i thank the Coach for giving me the opportunity. 

"I am determined to score more goals for my team and I want to help the club to achieve more this season. 

The Striker rued how injury forced him out of action last season but stated that he is back and better. 

"Injury dealt a big blow on me last season but i am back and better now. I want to do more and achieve great things with the club"  he said. 

John scored two goals and made one assist for Abia Warriors last season before being sidelined by injury. 

On their next game against Kwara United, He said that the team is ready to pick the maximum points in Ilorin. 

"We are coming to pick the three maximum points in Ilorin and we are confident about that. 

John is one of the young stikers in Nigeria league with great potential.
