40th edition of Hope Games for PLWD in Kwara Special School gets date
All is now set to celebrate the 40th edition of Hope Games for the disabled in Kwara State, holding on Thursday the 9th and Friday the10th of November at school for the Special Needs along Jebba Road, Ilorin, beginning at 2 p.m. each day.
The Hope Games are a yearly event organised and sponsored by the Adebisi Fabiyi Foundation, Omu Aran, for the visually impaired, the dump, the deaf, and the mentally challenged.
According to Media Consultant Bayour Issah of Sportspro News, this year's celebration will be witnessed by Governor AbdulRaman AbdulRasaq, who is the Special Guest of Honor. He commended the sponsor, Senior Special Apostle Prophet Dr. Elisha Adebisi Fabiyi, for his commitment to promote the games for four decades uninterrupted.
The school for Special Needs will engage Kwara State Polytechnic Secondary School in the foodball event on Thursday by 3.pm, while the inter-house athletic competition will be held on Friday, all at the school playing field.
Meanwhile, the Games Coordinator, Adebola Mola Jatto, has extended an invitation to all and sundry to attend the games and lend their support to the less privileged.
