Ciroma Cup Final: Gaa Akanbi FC Set Sights On Trophy, Ready For SGFC Battle
Gaa Akanbi FC are leaving no stone unturned in their bid to win the maiden edition of the Ciroma of Ilorin Football Championship.
The team has been impressive so far in the tournament and are now set to lift the trophy when they tackle SGFC Athletics in the final on Saturday.
Speaking ahead of the game, the Technical Adviser of the team , Coach Bashir Abolarinwa said his team is fully ready against their opponent.
"My boys are fully ready against SGFC Athletics, yes they are above us in all ways, but his boys will give them a run for their money.
"I respect the team,their Coach and their style of play, but for us, we want to consolidate our impressive run in the tournament with a trophy.
In his own remark, Lateef Oladimeji who is one of the players to look out for in the game said they will respect their opponent but will not give them undue advantage.
Interestingly, two of Gaa Akanbi FC Players, Samuel Bamidele and Boluwatife Ajina who are currently on six goals each look forward to scooping the highest goal scorer award when they play the final match.
Gaa Akanbi, go into the game against the NLO side with a lot of hope to cause a major upset.
The game is billed for Kwara Football Academy pitch at 3pm on Saturday.
