Ajaokuta Football Academy storm Ilorin for AMAPRO football championship 




Ajaokuta Football Academy will participate in the 8th edition of the AMAPRO football championship.

The team arrived in the capital  city of Kwara State on Sunday ahead of the kick of the tournament on Monday, July 3.


It's their third time of particiapting in the league since their debut in 2020 where they recorded the famous 5-0 victory over Kwara Football Academy in the group stage game.

Speaking after their arrival, the Director of Sports of the team, Ekun Shamsudeen said the team is ready to better expectations at the tournament.

"We thank God for a safe trip from Ajaokuta. The players are happy to be back for this tournament and they are all in high spirit.

The team is drawn in Group C alongside Abraysports FC, Terwoh FC and Dickalo FC

Ajaokuta FA will kick off their campaign on Monday against Abraysports FC at 10am.
