Rasaq Alaji promises to better expectations at Kwara United



The newly recruited Kwara United midfielder, Rasaq Alaji has promised to better all expectations in his new home.

Alaji teamed up with the Harmony boys from Crown FC of Ogbomoso ahead of the resumption of the NPFL second stanza.

Alaji in an interview with meritnews said his ultimate target with the team is to achieve the Super Six ticket at the end of the season.

The highly experienced and widely traveled midfielder also added that the club will experience a turn around under Coach Kabiru Dogo.

"I feel good to join Kwara United. We know what is at stake and we are going to try my best to help the team.

"I want to assure the fans of the club that we will try as much as possible to secure a super six ticket for the team"

"It's also a great pleasure for me to work with Coach Kabiru Dogo and other technical crew of the club. I believe the team will experience great things with him in charge.

Kwara United have been granted an approval to adopt Akure Township Stadium as their new home ground after dumping the Lekan Salami Adamasingba Stadium in Ibadan.

The team will begin the quest for stability and ultimately a good place finish on the table when the NPFL resumes after the election break.

His blistering football career has seen him formerly play for  Osun United, Ikorodu United, Express FC of Uganda premier league amongst many others
