La Planet's wonderkid excited to join ABS FC, promise to light up NNL with goals





One of the products of La Planet Sport Academia, Surajudeen Abdulmalik has expressed his excitement over joining ABS Ilorin FC for the new NNL season.

The young and versatile striker was unveiled alongside other 29 players of the Ilorin-based side on Wednesday amid full glare of the media.

Speaking to the newsmen after the unveiling, Malik expressed his delight for his new move and promised to justify his inclusion into the team.

"I am very happy to join this club. It has always been my dream and I will contribute my own efforts to get the team back to the Premier league.

"I want to score more goals and help the club to achieve all its objectives. I thank all my Coaches for believing in me" he said.

The promising attacker has been impressive over the pre-season period where he scored goals to the delight of the club's hierarchy.

Meanwhile, Malik is not the first La Planet product to team up with the NNL side.

Last season, Abdulganiyu Suleiman joined the club from La Planet. He would eventually attract interest of scouts from Europe during the course of the season and has now left the shore of the country.

Suleiman is currently making waves with PFC Litex Lovech in the Bulgarian second division league.
