Gaa Akanbi FC congratulates Gov. Abdulrahman, Ajulo, Awogbade on election victory





The management of Gaa Akanbi Football club, ilorin, Kwara State has congratulated Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq on his re-election  victory.

In a statement signed by the Technical Adviser of the club, Coach Bashir Abolarinwa shortly after the team's training session on Wednesday, he described the victory as a deserved one.

The club also felicitated with Honourable Raheem Tunji Ajuloopin for his re-election as the Honourable representing Isin/Oke-ero/Irepodun and Ekiti federal constituency .

While noting that the club has always benefitted from the policies of government, the National Institute for Sports(NIS) certified Coach urged them to continue to promote football development at the grassroots level.

"I would like to congratulate our Governor and Honourable Ajuloopin for their re-election victory. It represent a good omen for the state and I believe they will continue to do their best to move Kwara State forward".

" We have a lot of talents in the State and there is need for them to be exposed to oppurtuinities which will also in turn help build a productive society- I hope our leaders will continue to prioritize youth development".

He also further hailed the Chairman of All Progressives Congress(APC) in Isin local government, Honourable Awogbade Segun for his doggedness and efforts towards the success of the party at the elections.

Gaa Akanbi FC has become an household name in Kwara State. The club has provided a platform to engage the youth meaningfully and also maximize their football talents.


The club now has some of its products playing with the top tiers in Nigeria league and above the shores of the country
