Kwara SA Sports charges state contingent to go for gold in National Sports festival




The Kwara State Special Adviser on Youth and Sports Development to the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has applauded the sterling performance of the State athletes at the ongoing National Sports festival.
 
In a statement signed by Honourable Umar on Thursday, he commended the tenacity and doggedness of kwara athletes for their commitment and dedication.

While patiently waiting for the first gold medal to be announced in favour of Team Kwara, he charged the Athletes to attain the feat,Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and the State will be proud of.

Honourable Umar also expressed his optimism that the State contingent will excel in the festival on the heels Governor Abdulrahman's investment in sports development.

Maiduguri-born Tahur Maigana makes Flying Eagles AFCON squad One of the talents to look out for in the upcoming U20 AFCON is Tahir Maigana The young player who was born and bred in Maiduguri, Borno State, is plying his trade with Wireless Football Club based in Abuja, Nigeria.  The natural left footer is a genius and will wow the spectators during the tournament. Recall that Coach Aliyu Zubairu, the Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri will lead the U20 team to the AFCON in Egypt.
