Ajao Sodiq happy with new club,sets CAF Champions league target





Ajao Sodeeq has revealed that his fervent dream for his new club is to achieve a continental ticket at the end of the season.

The former University of Ilorin Skipper who joined 
Union Sportive Des Cavaliers De Nikki,ahead of the Benin Republic elite league expressed his delight about his experience with the club which currently occupies the second spot in the Northern group.

Speaking on his new home, Lege as he is fondly called said, "I am enjoying this place and am doing fine with my team, i feel happy here"

"This league is quite different from that of Nigeria. It's very competitive and I think it's a good one for starting my career outside the country. It's a big challenge and different experience" he remarked.

"My target is to play CAF champions or confederation next season" the Ilorin-born footballer said.

The lanky Defender will be remembered for winning major trophies with the Unilorin football team as Captain.

More reputably, his heroic performance at the last University Games held at the University of Lagos saw him winning the Most Valuable Player.

Notable among his achievement with Unilorin was winning the JAMB University Football Tournament alongside the gold medal in the last NUGA.

His side will lock horns with Panthère fc of Djougou on Sunday in another league clash.
