Coach Yusuf backs Gusau, board members to succeed at NFF



A topflight Coach and former Technical Adviser of Apex Krane FC, Coach Salihu Yusuf has congratulated the newly elected NFF President, Ibrahim Musa Gusau and all his board for their victory in the just concluded elections

Popularly called 'Scheedow', Coach Yusuf expressed his confidence in the new leadership of NFF to turn things around for Nigeria football.

One time Coach of Sunshine Stars FC of Akure, the gaffer urged the new board to use their goodwill and bring back the lost glory for the round leather game.

"Football is a unifying factor and it's important that we create a sustainable system for it. I want to urge the new NFF leadership to reposed the confidence given to them and reposition our football" 

Yusuf who is also the former  Chief Coach of ABS Ilorin FC and Technical Adviser, Yarmalight FC, however urged all the stakeholders to rally round the new board in order to deliver Nigeria football.

Maiduguri-born Tahur Maigana makes Flying Eagles AFCON squad One of the talents to look out for in the upcoming U20 AFCON is Tahir Maigana The young player who was born and bred in Maiduguri, Borno State, is plying his trade with Wireless Football Club based in Abuja, Nigeria.  The natural left footer is a genius and will wow the spectators during the tournament. Recall that Coach Aliyu Zubairu, the Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri will lead the U20 team to the AFCON in Egypt.
