Sunrise FA pummels Yusmark FA in YSFON Tourney, Dedicates Victory to Academy Boss





Sunrise Football Academy got on a huge win in their opener at the ongoing U17 YSFON Commissioner of Police Cup in Ilorin which kicked off on Wednesday.

It was all an emphatic victory for the Arowoiyabuna boys as they thrashed their opponents Six goals to nothing, emerging as the biggest winner of the match day One.

Much to that again, the U13 Category of the team who are also participating in the U13 section of the championship secured a 2-1 over Red Rangers in their own encounter.

With the victory, Sunrise FA(U17) goes top of Group B of the tournament featuring Ten teams.

Speaking after the game, Coach Abdulsalam Adeniyi commended his boys for their victory 

"It's a wonderful day for us because the victory coincided with the birthday occasion of our Chairman, Mr. Adeniran Kayode. We are dedicating the victory to him and pray that Almighty God grant him his best wishes".

Noting that the victory came on the heels of the hard work on the part of the Coaches and the players, Adeniyi expressed his believe that the team is poised to win the coveted trophy.

Also speaking after the victory, Abdulganiyu Teslim, an U17 player of Sunrise FA reveled in the victory which he also dedicated to the Chairman.
