Continental Ticket Within Kwara United Reach -Attahiru Ibrahim

With two more matches to end the season, Kwara Utd still have the positive chance to placed third and earn a continental ticket. 

Mallam Attahiru Ibrahim the Special Adviser on Sports and Youth Development to Governor Abdulrahaman Abdulrasaq told sports reporters in Ilorin shortly after the victory over Nasarawa United that the strength of the team for now will propel them to place third ahead of other rivals to gain a continental slot.

Attahiru, who commended the players and officials of the club assured them of the government support adding that Governor Abdulrahaman is resolute in his drive to to move Kwara United and other sports to the next level.

He eulogized the number one citizen of Kwara State for his giant strides in repositioning sports. Attahiru however urged the players to redouble their efforts in the remaining matches to convince the doubting thomases that  Kwara State is a force to be reckon with in terms of Sports, Road construction and maintenance, Health Care delivery, Education where Kwara state won numerous awards just to mention a few. 

Kwara United have two more games to end the league season.The Harmony boys will host relegation bound MFM FC on Sunday in Ilorin while the last battle to end the season is against Heartland FC in Owerri.
