"We will drive Kwara Football Academy to the promise land"- Ibrahim Bako
The Administrator of Kwara Football Academy, Mallam Oladele Bako said the football institution under his watch will never relent in the pursuit for Excellence.
Speaking to Journalists after playing host to some European Scouts in his office on Wednesday, Bako said the Academy is a work in progress and will continue to drive the inception message.
Reacting to the performance of Academy's boys after defeating the Alphamax team 1 nil in the opening game of the scouting tournament, the Former Kwara United Secretary noted that; "The match is a very good outing for my boys. They did their best and played to the tune of the Academy. So i think it's a well deserved victory"
He described the visit of the Agents to his office as a great opportunity which has further established the impression that the football Institution is world acclaimed.
"Their visitation goes a long way. At least to host the European Scouts is a very big oppurtunity that we have been waiting for"
"Kwara Football Academy is still a work in progress and there are still a lot of things we have to put in proper condition or shape and I think with time, we drive the Academy to the promise land because there are a lot of programmes lined up for the Academy" he quipped.
Speaking about the drive of the institute in its Academics and football programmes, he reveled in the fact that the ideal has been manifesting very well adding that the daily routine has never be disrupted- an omen which suggest a great future for the Academy.
The officials of the Alphamax Football Scouting Tournament had led the European Agents in a courtesy call to the Academy earlier on Wednesday morning.
The football managers, Mario Esteban Barrera , who is currently the Coach of Deportivo Alcoyano,a Second Division B Club in Spain and Previously Sports Director of Elche CF and Girona FC in the Spanish La Liga and Mr Jorgo Fuster who is a FIFA Licenced intermediary both expressed their delight to be in the Country to scout for talents.
