Kwara State Sports commission commends Adorable Angels

The Executive chairman of Kwara State Sports commission, Mallam Bolakale Mogaji has commended the Handball team Adorable Angels for the first phase of the Prudent Energy Premier League which ended in Abuja yesterday. .

Mallam Bola Mogaji stated this  at a short reception organised to honour the girls on Friday. 

The Executive chairman who was represented by Alhaji Abubakar Sheu  Olushola eulogised the players for doing the state proud ,adding that the state government is appreciative of their commitment to lift the state to greater heights. 

The reception which was put together by ex handballers namely Moni Makanjuola and Jide Ojomu was well attended by stakeholders and the players. 

Speaking on behalf of the players, Coach Isiaka Attanda thanked the sports commission for the reception to honour the handballers whose position at the first phase is encouraging. 

He acknowledged the modest support of the commission to encourage the players who are looking forward to the second phase in October 2022.

The colourful reception was attended by members of sports commission, namely Rosemary Amos, Mrs Monishola Makanjuola, Honourable Lade Abdullahi, Mr Joshua Yisa and Mrs Abolore Balkis Abdulkadir.Others include  head of departments at the commission , Mr Wale Obalola (Stadium Manager), Mrs Patience Lawal ( HOD Coaching) and Mr Ahmed Adebayo( HOD School Sports).

Recall that Coach Aliyu Zubairu, the Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri will lead the U20 team to the AFCON in Egypt.
