Alphamax Scouting Tourney Thrilled Spaniard Football Managers



The duo of Mario Barrera and Jorge Fuster has described their visit to Nigeria for Alphamax National U-20 Scouting Tournament as a voyage inspired by their love for African Players and Nigeria at large.

Speaking separately on Wednesday upon their arrival for the 3-day scouting event, the top European football agents expressed their delight at the invitation for the programme. 


In his own remarks, Marrio Barrera noted that Africa is repleted with great number of football talents and he is willing to help them get to the professional level. 

"I am very grateful for the invitation. I am happy to come to Africa and Nigeria to the next level. As a player who played in Argentina, I always reveled in any match between Nigeria and Argentine and as a General Manager of first division club in Spanish, i love African players and I am willing to help them become professional is Spain and in Europe" said an ecstatic Mario. 

Reacting to their visit, Jorge Fuster revealed that the project is aimed at exposing Nigerian players to oppurtunities in Europe and other part of world, saying "We are happy to be here to help Nigerian Players"

The project which commenced on Wednesday will end on Friday with the believe that it serve as breakthrough for some football talents that has participated in the event.

Prince Adeyinka Adeyemi, who is the Coordinator of the Scouting Tournament expressed his optimism that the programme will avail the players a life-changing moment with their career been taken to another level. 

Mario Esteban Barrera  is currently the Coach of  Deportivo Alcoyano,a Second Division B Club in Spain and Previously Sports Director of Elche CF and Girona FC in the Spanish La Liga and Mr Jorge Fuster is a FIFA Licenced intermediary
