NNL: La Planet Academia Product in Cloud Nine After Grabbing First League Goal For ABS FC






One of the graduates of the La Planet Sport Academia, Suleiman Abdulganiyu has expressed his delight over scoring his first league goal for ABS Ilorin FC.

Suleiman’s late goal had helped ABS FC avoid a defeat against El-Kanemi Warriors in Ilorin on Saturday in one of the NNL weekend fixtures.

The sharp attacker came to the rescue as he netted a 96th minutes equalizer to earn his team a 1-1 draw against visiting El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri, thus giving the Saraki Army a hope in their push for Promotion ticket.

The Coach Jerome Igbankwe had lost an opportunity to draw the level when their Skipper, Ibrahim Muhammed failed to score a penalty in the second half.

Speaking to the newsmen after the match, Suleiman said " I am really happy to have scored the goal. I feel excited and hope to score more"

"The game was a tough game and I believe we will make it up with the dropped point. It's not over yet because NPFL is our destination" said the pacy attacker.

Although, a win would have catapulted ABS Ilorin FC to the top of the Northern Conference Group A 1 table going into the next round of matches in the ongoing NNL season, the team will be looking forward to make up their lost point when they travel to play away from home in their next game.
