La Planet Sports Players Hail Management, Promise To Uphold Academy's Values





It was all a moment of joy and celebration on Tuesday when the management of La Planet Sports Academia hosted the players to a sumptuous get-together party at the Academy's camp in Eiyenkorin.

Organised to mark the Eid-li-fitr festival, the gathering which was witnessed by some teeming fans of the Academy also served as a platform for the management and players to engage in conversation geared towards the progress of the Academy.

Speaking in his opening remarks, Chairman of the Academy, Alhaji Mujeeb Erubu commended the players for their dedication and urged them to remain focused in their career.

"I would like to commend you all for your commitment to this Academy. While I hope you will continue to maintain the values that we are known for, we will not relent our part to give you the best of oppurtunity to take your career to the highest level"

The Chairman, who also applauded the U-17 cadre of the Academy for reaching the semi-final of the Kwara U-17 league stressed the need for them to be disciplined, saying Talent is not enough to get them to the peak of life.

Other members of the management who were at the event charged the players to be committed, dedicated, prayerful and also exemplify morality in all their dealings.

Responding to the calls, some of the players who spoke on behalf others lauded the efforts of the management in securing a better future for them through several programmes promised to always fly the flag of the Academy higher in all their outing.

While the management seized the moment to unveil some of the programmes ahead of the Academy, players were assured of an improved welfare package and platforms to maximize their potentials.

The Academy among many other football competiton will be  participating in the upcoming Aseami Scouting Tournament in Ilorin, NLO Division two league, Kwara State Football Association Cup and Super League.
