Barrier FA Technical Adviser Hails Alhaji Afase, Engr. Laide For Support on the team






The management of Barrier Football Academy, Ilorin has heaped praises on its Chairman, Alhaji Afase Babatunde Salihu and Vice Chairman, Engineer Laide Ahmed for their support on the team.

In a chat with newsmen in Ilorin on Saturday, the Technical Adviser of Barrier FA, Coach Taofeek Babatunde noted that the support from both Alhaji Afase and Engineer Laide has been a driving force for the Academy.

"We would like to thank our  Chairman and Vice Chairman for their magnanimity and philanthropic gesture towards sustaining our team. Their kind is rare and we would never take their contributions for granted" said Coach Taofeek.

While praying to Almighty God to continue to strengthen Alhaji Afase and Engineer Olaide, he promised that the Academy will not relent in its pursuit for excellence and creating oppurtunity for talented footballers.

Barrier FA will again this year be participating in the NLO second division league.

The team will be battling out with other six teams in Ado- Ekiti centre from May 22 through to May 28.

Barrier have been  grouped alongside La Planet Sports Academia, Injector FC, Karamba FC, Victory Police FC, Ijesha Warriors FC and Alaska FC.

Recall that Coach Aliyu Zubairu, the Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri will lead the U20 team to the AFCON in Egypt.
