NLO: Ogundeji Calls For  Calm Assures Of Total Victory In Ogbomoso Utd Next Game



Ogbomosho United Head Coach, Joel Ogundeji has called on the fans of the club to remain calm after their disappointing defeat to SGFC Athletic FC on Thursday, assuring that they will bounce back stronger in their next game.


Ogbomoso United suffered a 3-0 defeat to SGFC Athletics in the Matchday five of the Nationwide Division one league Group C2 played at Ilorin complex stadium on Thursday evening.


The highly-tensed affair which ended goalless in the first interval sparked into life in the 60th minutes when Etaghara Bright fired the host in front after a beautiful build up play.

 Hyginus Wisdom doubled the advantage in the 74th minutes while Charles Obani sealed the victory when he converted from the spot in the 82nd minutes after an handball by an Ogbomoso United defender with in the box.


"It was a difficult game even though I believed we could have gotten a positive results in the encounter", Coach Joel told Journalist.

"The tempo from my boys dropped a little bit in the second half. we didn't continue with the flare and agility we came with in the first half and a bit of lack of concentration as well left us in a bad situation", he concluded.

He further maintained that there is no cause for alarm, giving that he is working with the Players he met on ground, he remained confident that the team will bounce back stronger in their next game.

Ogundeji, who was appointed some weeks ago will be looking for his second victory when Ogbomoso United play host to FC Ebedei in their next fixture at the Lauteh Sports Complex Ogbomosho.
