Kwara-born Adetiba Dazzles in Acan Track And Field Competition





Kwara-born Abiodun Adetiba has once again made a mark for himself. The long distance race prospect recently came third in Acan track and field competiton where he ran a record time of 24:33:44 in the 5000m race walk event.

The prodigy, who has participated in major marathons in Nigeria among which includes the famous Lagos City Marathon, Abeokuta Marathon, Remo Ultra Road race and Ogbomoso Marathon is keen to take his game to the highest level.

Abbey as he is fondly called has now set sights on big achievements at the upcoming Okpepe Road race in Edo State.

Abiodun with his prospect is one of the biggest things that will happen in the long distance race event history in the nearest future.

Recall that Coach Aliyu Zubairu, the Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri will lead the U20 team to the AFCON in Egypt.
