Musa AbdulAfeez: Kwara United's Talisman And The Journey Soo Far


 




Musa Abdulafeez Olororo  is a Nigerian professional Footballer who plays as an attacking winger and a right back for Kwara United football club in the Nigeria Professional Football League. 

Abdulafeez Musa is a native of Kwara State. The third of five children born to the Family of Olororo in Popo Igbonna Olororo Area in Ilorin Kwara State Nigeria.

He attended Black & White Nursery & primary school Oke Apomu Ilorin, Government Secondary School Ilorin and also earned an National Diploma (ND) at the Lagos state Polytechnic Laspotech Yaba Annex, Lagos.

Abdulafeez has been in superb form this season for Kwara United having featured in all of their matches this campaign helping the team to climb to fifth on the league standings having gathered a total of  31 points so far.


It was never an easy journey for Abdulafeez who has had stints with several clubs in the country, he began his football career with  Greater Tomorrow Academy in Kwara State, he then moved to Avalon Football Club in Offa, Kwara United Feeders.

Abdulhafeez signed his first professional contract when he joined Adamawa United in the Nigeria national league before being snapped up by Kwara United after he impressed John Obuh who was the gaffer of the club at that time.


He didn't have it rousy during his early days with the Harmony Boys following the dismissal of John Obuh, as he ensured torrid time under coach Abubakar Bala who replaced the former as he struggled for playing time.


There came light at the end of the tunnel for 'Olororo' as he is popular called following the arrival of Coach Abdullahi Biffo who has revived his career and has given him the opportunity to express himself. 

"I am so grateful to coach Biffo, who saw the talent in me, believed in me and  gave me the opportunity to showcase my talents", He told Journalist in an interview.

"John Obuh brought me to Kwara United. When he was sacked, Coach Abubakar Bala was brought in, during his time I didn't have much playing time to discover myself" he reflected

"The fans have been amazing for me, the support I am getting is overwhelming and I am really grateful to them and also to Coach Biffo who gave me the chance to showcase myself to the fans-who now have faith in me", he said.

Abdulafeez Musa is one player who is known for his Philanthropic gesture as he is always seen moving freely amongst the fans sharing with them from the little he has.

The winger like other players is ambitious and confident of taking his career to the next level as he eyes a move to Europe.
