La Planet Sports Academia Storms Ijebu-ode For Sino Scouting Tournament





Players and Coaches of La Planet Sports Academia are currently in Ijebu-ode,Ogun State to participate in the ongoing Sino Scouting tournament.


Speaking upon the arrival of the team on Sunday evening, Coach Sheriff Jimoh urged the players to make the best of the opportunity and be of good character.

"We are not here for a jamboree. We are here for a purpose and I want to see  commitment and dedication from you through out the programme" said the gaffer.

La Planet will file out against the Lagos based Utility Sports FC at 11am on Monday for their first game of the programme while they would also lock horns with Crossville FA of Ibadan on Tuesday at 9am.

The scouting programme, holding at the Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu-ode was organised to expose grassroots footballers to life changing opportunities.

Maiduguri-born Tahur Maigana makes Flying Eagles AFCON squad One of the talents to look out for in the upcoming U20 AFCON is Tahir Maigana The young player who was born and bred in Maiduguri, Borno State, is plying his trade with Wireless Football Club based in Abuja, Nigeria.  The natural left footer is a genius and will wow the spectators during the tournament. Recall that Coach Aliyu Zubairu, the Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri will lead the U20 team to the AFCON in Egypt.
