Coronation: YYDM Felicitates With New Oba Yoruba Of Mokwa




Members of the Yoruba Youth Development, Mokwa (YYDM)  area of Niger State has congratulated the new Oba Yoruba of Mokwa, Oba Abdulraufu Usman Oyeniyi Ilufemiloye 1.

The new Oba, who was formally crowned on Saturday 11th of December at Ansarudeen Schools in Mokwa became the 4th Yoruba leader in the community.

Speaking after the event where the members of the group featured prominently in terms of organisation and execution, Comrade Abdulrahman Moshood Bolaji, the President of YYDM said the emergence of the Oba is a new dawn for the Oduduwa descents in the town.

"I want to on behalf of YYDM congratulate our new Oba for his ascension and assure him of our support in his functions ". He said.

Comrade Bolaji wished the new Oba a peaceful and prosperous reign and called on the Yoruba descents to rally round him in his efforts to deliver on his promises.

The coronation and official presentation of the certificate was witnessed by yoruba traditional leaders and extraction across the nooks and crannies of Niger State.

Oba Abdulraufu Oyeniyi who hails from Offa, Kwara State became the leader of Yoruba in Mokwa after the former leader, Oba Samuel Oladunni relocated back to his hometown in Ogbomoso.
