Alhaji MK Usman Tourney Gets November 27 Final Date
All roads will lead to Kudu, Mokwa local government area of Niger State when the final event of Alhaji MK Usman Zone 'A' football championship takes centre stage on Saturday November 27.
The match, billed to hold at Kudu township football field will have Katcha local government taking on thier counterparts from Mokwa in what is going to be a repeat of last edition's final.
The tournament,sponsored by Alhaji MK Usman is aimed at discovering talents and also boost youth productivity while also promoting unity among all the local governments area in the Niger State South Senatorial district.
The Chairman, Niger State Football Association, (NSFA) Alhaji Ahmed Yusuf Fresh is expected to lead the football stakeholders in the State to the event.
Organised under the auspices of NSFA Zone A caucus, Katcha won the first edition of the tournament after defeating Mokwa in the final 4-2 on penalties.
Also expected to grace the event is the sole sponsor of the tournament, the village head of Kudu and stakeholders across the length and breadth of Mokwa local government area of Niger State.
Bida local government will also be tackling Kusopa United in the third place final.
Recall that the preliminaries and group stage of the tournament which involved all the eight local governments in the Niger South Senatorial and Kusopa United except Lapai LG have been concluded last week.
